About the Event

Experience the full range of vocal music, from opera and oratorio to contemporary crossover, and music from around the world featuring international soprano, Deirdre Lobo, and the incomparable Nadine Crasto, pianist & accompanist. This program has been curated specifically for all audiences with classical music in the first half of the recital and repertoire from the genre of musical theatre as well as old favorites from around the world in the second half of the program.

Artist Bio

Deirdre Lobo, Soprano
Deirdre brings over four decades of expertise to her craft. Of Indian origin, based in the USA, Deirdre is the daughter of Indian operatic soprano, the late Celia Lobo.

In June 2026, Deirdre debuted as soloist with the New York Chamber Players Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, New York. She is winner of the GRAND PRIZE in the Messiah Soloist Competition, California, & SECOND PRIZE in the Barry Alexander Int’l Vocal Competition, New York (2011).
Deirdre has performed 100+ concerts, taught 100+ masterclasses; directed 17+ musicals globally, and is founder & artistic director for the Celia Lobo Academy of Voice (CLAV).

Nadine Crasto, Pianist & Accompanist
Young Steinway Artist, Nadine Jo Crasto, began learning the piano at the age of 9 under the tutelage of Myrna Fernandes. In 2015, she graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Piano Performance at the Royal Academy of Music, London.
